Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect on ivyroadmaps.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

The short version
We run a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool that does not track you across websites and does not build an advertising profile of you. We do not sell your personal information. The only substantial personal information we hold about you is what you choose to type into our application form or send us by email.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you book a Strategy Session, our application form collects the information you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, your child's grade level, and your answers about your family's situation and goals. If you email us, we hold that correspondence. We use this to review your application, to contact you about it, and to prepare for a consultation if one is scheduled.
The application form is hosted by Typeform, a third-party provider. When you submit it, your responses are processed on Typeform's systems under their privacy policy before reaching us.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the site is performing in aggregate — how many people visit, which sections they read, whether they watch the video, and whether they go on to apply. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track people across websites or over time. All measurements are aggregate and cannot be traced back to an individual. Data is processed within the EU. See Plausible's data policy.
Alongside pageviews, we record a small number of named events — for example that a visitor started the video, reached the halfway point, or clicked an apply button, and which section of the page that button was in. These events carry no personal identifiers.
Video
The video on our homepage is delivered by Vidalytics. Loading and playing it involves a request to Vidalytics' servers, which receives standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and records playback behaviour such as how much of the video was watched. This is governed by Vidalytics' privacy policy.
Family testimonial videos are hosted on YouTube. We deliberately do not load YouTube until you click play — the thumbnails you see are served from our own site. Once you click play, the embedded player loads in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and Google receives the request. Google's handling of that is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets one first-party cookie, lh_attribution. It stores only the
campaign parameters present in the link you arrived through (for example the source of an
email or ad), so that if you later apply we can tell which channel the application came
from. It contains no personal information, is readable only by this site, and expires
after 30 days. Nothing else is stored on your device by us.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and request details, for security and reliability purposes. These are retained for a short period and are not used for marketing.
Children's information
Our program serves students in grades 6 through 8, but this website is directed at parents and guardians, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this site. Information about a student reaches us through a parent or guardian, who provides it on the child's behalf. If you believe a child has submitted information to us directly, contact us and we will delete it.
How we use information
We use what we collect only to:
- review applications and decide whether a consultation is appropriate;
- contact you about your application, your consultation, or your enrollment;
- send you program information you have asked for, which you can stop at any time;
- understand in aggregate how the site performs and improve it;
- meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
Who we share information with
Only the service providers we need in order to operate: our form provider, email and scheduling tools, our hosting and video providers, and our payment processor if you enrol. Each handles data on our instructions. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Applications that do not lead to a consultation are retained for up to 24 months, in case you return to us later. Records for enrolled families are kept for the duration of the engagement and for seven years afterwards, to meet accounting and record-keeping obligations. Aggregate analytics contain no personal data and are kept indefinitely. You can ask us to delete your records earlier.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Residents of California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws have the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
To exercise any of these, email us at the address below. We will verify your identity before acting, and respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and we use reputable providers with their own security programs. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask that you not send sensitive information such as financial account details or government identification numbers by email.
Marketing email
If you opt in, we may send you program information and resources. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect emails about an application or enrollment already in progress.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
